Updates the user's statement delivery preference for all eligible accounts. When multi‑statement support (multiple account online statement preference selection) is enabled, the preference is applied per account and may result in partial success. When multi‑statement support is disabled, the preference is applied once at the user level.

Use this endpoint to:

  • Simplify preference management by applying one statement delivery choice across all eligible accounts.
  • Ensure the user’s disclosure acceptance is immediately reflected in statement delivery settings.
  • Reduce operational overhead by updating multiple account preferences in a single request.

Prerequisites:

  • The current user must be active.
  • The user must have an accepted online statement disclosure at the user level.

Behaviors and capabilities:

  • When multi‑statement support is enabled, preferences are applied per account and may return 206 Partial Content with lists of updated and failed accounts.
  • When multi‑statement support is disabled, the preference is applied once at the user level.
